Image style
Color psychology and accessibility
Black and white texts, imagery, and CTA are mixed in with lighter color palette. The contrast between black and lighter color are tested for accessibility. The goal of this system was to give vibrant energy, compared to the dark, muted, and professional feeling of the main New Relic website.
Connection to education
As education and certification is the main purpose of this page, the visual design system takes reference from text books, notes, highlighting, and pen doodling. The website features mostly black and white images and typography to mimic print design. Images also have natural textured added.

Data representation
New Relic is a platform that provides real-time insights into the performance and behavior of digital systems. Naturally, all of the NRU courses will circle around data and data analysis. This is a visual system where data itself is a visual language. It can be used as is, or as a collage element.
